We are all very excited to be leaving for Tanzania in just a few short days! We are making sure that we pack the essentials.. camera equipment, binoculars, hiking sandals, and a sleeping bag. We cannot wait to spot some awesome wildlife and immerse ourselves in the culture. We look forward to keeping you updated about our trip.

We just received an email from our son. All is well. Here's a snippet from it:
"Just checked into the lodge and gained access to wifi for the first time! Having a friggin blast just today I saw two hundred elephants a lion a leopard impala hardibeast (Google it) and tons of cool birds. We've been sleeping in tents up to this point so I'm excited to get myself a shower and a bed. We stayed with the Masai tribesman for two days most recently that was totally unreal. People are awesome Africa is awesome don't worry about a thing."
Sounds like more of you will be hearing from your kids today and that they are all doing well. Share info if you get it!
